China National Nonferrous Metals
Import & Export Guangdong Corporation (CNIEG),an
enterprise under China National Nonferrous Metals Import &
Export Corporation, was set up in August, 1980. In July, 2000,
CNIEG was designated to Guangdong Province by the central
government, becoming an import and export corporation under
Guangdong Rising Nonferrous Metals Group. CNIEG is rated high
and honored with the titles of “Respect-Contracts and
Maintain-Prestige Enterprise” by the Guangdong provincial
authorities, “AA Class Enterprise” by Bank of
China, “the Largest 500 Enterprises in Foreign Trade
Turnover” by the Ministry of Commerce, and is one of
the 47 companies in China, which are authorized to export
rare earth materials. At the end of July, 2006, CNIEG was
ISO certified (9001:2000), and is awarded with CQM and IQNET
certifications. CNIEG is an entity of financial strength.
It enjoys high prestige and is well-known in the mainland
and abroad.

CNIEG develops firmly and has a
diversified business. Currently it buys and sells more
than 100 kinds of materials and products from and to
customers in almost 50 countries and areas, including
Japan, USA and EU countries. CNIEG is one of the members
to launch “China Tungsten Hightech”, the
listed company (code 000657) and is one of its largest
10 share holders. CNIEG is also one of the major share
holders of two rare earth manufacturers –Guangdong
Zhujiang Rare Earths Co.,LTD and Baotou Xinyuan Rare
Earth Hi-tech Newly-material Co.,LTD. CNIEG, keeping
close and long-term relationship with domestic producers,
has constructed a solid foundation for business. With
its average annual turnover of over 200 million US dollars
for years, CNIEG is at the head of the list of import
and export enterprises in the system nationwide. It
is one of the best import and export companies within
the nonferrous metals system in China in terms of annual
